Cookie Monster Dip

Monster Cookie Dip If your anything like I was as a child there isn’t anything better than a big ol’ spoon full cookie dough!  My friends and I used to go to the grocery store and buy a big tube of ready to bake cookie dough then we would all grab a spoon and start eating away!  I don’t think we ever did have any left to actually bake cookies!  My kiddos love it now just as much as I did (do…what am I saying)!!!  Here is an awesome dip that is egg free so you have no worries about anyone getting sick or anyone with an egg allergy!!!  A friend gave me this recipe and I just had to try it! I made this for a get together we had a couple weeks ago and needless to say…it was a hit for the little kids and the “big” kids!!  Enjoy!

So super easy…my daughter did all the mixing!

Parents vs. Kids Ultimate “Grilled” Cheese Cook Off

My husband and I bought a loaf of Texas Toast to make some super yummy Cinnamon French Toast! However, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with the rest of the loaf.  Stick it in the freezer for another time (and probably forget about it) or whip something up with it.  My kids are super picky eaters but the one thing they will all eat is Grilled Cheese.  So it dawned on me…why can’t you literally “grill” Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on the grill…surly it would work, right!?  So I told my kiddos that Friday morning before school that after school we would have a “Parents vs. Kids Ultimate Grilled Cheese Cook Off”!  You should of seen how excited they were! That afternoon when I picked them up from school, they were still super excited and asking me all kinds of questions on how we were going to judge etc!  So fun…I highly recommend this fun little family cook off competition!!!!

Minion Cupcakes (Despicable Me)

Minion Cupcakes

Despicable Me 2 just came out in the theatre and my kids are super excited to go and see it this weekend! We decided that tonight we will refresh ourselves and watch Despicable Me (the first one) outside under the stars!  The kids and I made these adorable Minion cupcakes today to have at our little Despicable me party!  They are So excited!

Not much of a recipe here…used a yellow cake mix to make the cupcakes!  Cut Twinkies in 1/2 for the Minion body, black licorice for the hair, candy googly eyes piped with black frosting to look like their goggles/glasses and a mouth piped on as well!  I placed the little guy right on top of the cupcake and piped blue frosting around the Minion!  They are so cute I might have a hard time eating one!! 🙂

However…my daughter didn’t have a problem taste testing the cute little guys! 🙂
